What Midea Warranty Generally Covers
Midea warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship that appear under normal household use and maintenance during the warranty period. Service must be performed by an authorized Midea servicer such as Forerunner Appliance Services. You will need proof of purchase (bill of sale or delivery slip) to submit a warranty claim.
What Midea Warranty Does Not Cover
Across Midea product lines, warranty coverage typically does not include:
- Abuse, damage, or use contrary to product instructions
- Modifications to the product or use of non-Midea parts
- Failure to maintain the product per the user manual
- Faulty or improper installation
- Power supply issues, blown fuses, or house wiring defects
- Water damage, floods, fires, or acts of God
- Cosmetic parts (handles, knobs, finishes) and consumables (filters, light bulbs)
- Commercial, business, or rental use (unless a separate commercial warranty applies)
- Products purchased "as-is" or refurbished
- Transfer to a subsequent owner (warranty is non-transferable)
Warranty terms vary by product and model. Always refer to the warranty guide included with your specific appliance for exact coverage periods and conditions.
